• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I looked into:
Coinmama but they want you to upload a selfie of you holding your ID
Xcoins to try and use paypal but I hear paypal can get suspended for a while
Bitcoin ATM, but they weren't working where I am and have steep fees.

I am just trying to be as private as possible, maybe use paypal as an option, and/or something that is just reasonable with least amount of hassle and decent discretion. Do I just take the hit and go for any of the above type of services, or am I being reasonably cautious with all that can go down? Thanks for your time and any help here or via pm.

why do you not want to tie to your identity to bitcoin so badly? if you're worried about it being traced, buy the bitcoin, move it to an exchange like Binance, then move it off to a new wallet (make one at blockchain.info). now your bitcoin has been purchased and tied to an ID at something like Coinbase, then moved to an exchange where it's mixed, and then withdrawn to a completely unrelated wallet.

or use localbitcoins website and buy it off someone direct if it's in use in your country
