I would aim for not much more than half hour prior if they are the immediate release version. For me, that is how long it takes when I notice the effects. The immediate release peak in 1- 4 hours..
Probably an hour prior if they are the extended release version is fine. The extended release version will not peak until 6 hours (6 - 14 hours) though.

1.2g is overkill I think. PPH says 800mg but there was one thread I read where people were more comfortable with something like 300mg (can't remember where exactly though).Last edited:

No it's not. It's extremely hard to do this with propranolol and actually I only found one article about someone who was successful and it was over 100 pills.

No higher than that. My memory is bad but it was a high dose pill. He was a college student and had taken an incredibly high dose.Using it to help expedite and ensure peacefulness of SN is not the same as trying to use it by itself, if there is any confusion?Anyone purchase the propranolol online without a prescription?
