i'm assuming you've already tried some online dating, but have you heard of an app called imvu? it's a chatting app with 3D rooms and avatars, and there's lots of people there looking for boyfriends/girlfriends. yeah, there's quite a few flakey people and people with lots of issues, but there's really nice people on there, too. and a lot of people on there use discord, as well. i actually knew some people who got together irl, tho that's more rare.
