It can be pretty world-changing, yeah :)
The best two years of my life started when I was first prescribed stimulants. I went from "I don't really believe in pills for mental health" to "WTH kind of magic is this?!" It definitely took some adjusting to, but it was such an improvement. I can't imagine life without my meds now.
Glad it's working for you.

PS. If it's an uncomfortable level of energy, might be a good idea to reduce your dosage, though.

Was it a different kind?
The different stimulants are all supposed to work through similar pathways, but some people notice a big difference. I briefly tried another class of stimulants, and that one did nothing for me unless I went on a really high dose, and then the side effects were intense.

That's me, I was put on methylphenidate, but I quit the drug.

It did help with my concentration, but my MDD just shadows that improvement I felt.

I feel like curing my depression should come first, before being able to benift from stimulants.

Great treatment for low self esteem and low motivation to accomplish goals.
