Venting I fucking hate being a black girl

Okay as much as I love my appearance I hate the hate I get for being a black girl. It literally sucks that the first thing someone notices about me is me being a black girl and not anything else. I can't stand going online and seeing the racism against me just for being black and a woman I can't stand it anymore it makes me so suicidal like I can't stand living anymore yet I still wake up everyday and deal with the same stuff every single day. What's even the point. It's so tiring being a black woman. There's just so many stereotypes against me and I hate it. I know this post is stupid I just had to let it out because I'm so tired. Like I can't stand being considered undesired and other races considered wife material and pretty. Like im cute and attractive but you're not desiring me because of my skin color? I'm so broken

Other than that, the black girls I've met from the US have always been very cheerful and friendly people, they're great

I disagree with this. Most cases of racism I see stem from stereotypes which were formed when systematic racism was normalised. I understand what you're trying to say, but I don't think celebrities are causing stereotypes and racism - discrimination has always been around.

Your comment about black women having extremely attractive bodies seems a bit weird as well. The post isn't about looks or attractiveness it's about discrimination, so bringing sexual attraction into this seems quite irrelevant imo

Hmm i can see why u would assume its weird i didnt mean it sexually. Rather in an attractive sense like skin wise . But ye my bad i could formulate it better.
Also bout stereotypes i genuinely think internet is playing a huge role, 10 years ago the karen stereotype wasnt even a thing. Tiktok and celebrities etc do in fact play a huge role.

In certain online spaces hating on women and being racist (or at least pretending to be) is apparently a sign of belonging or peak comedy. These are failures of our culture, cultivating the injustice.

being a black woman fuck. i can't put into words what a fucked up experience it can be. people being attracted to you but ALSO hating you or thinking you're less than is such an insane experience. it's not new or unfounded. a lot of racist people love black women. the same way a lot of misogynists love women. but imagine having best of both worlds just in your daily everyday life. so so so fun

Either because we aren't Black, we've never met or interacted with racists, or because we don't care—after all, everyone has problems. But honestly, I hope you never take your own life because of this. Not because of this. I'm sorry you feel like that. I'm a black woman also and I agree with your post. I know how others feel about us and how they perceive us. I guess I never realized it was that bad until I joined Instagram. The comments about us are so degrading.

Personally, my own race have treated me the worst in life. Other races have treated me better, BUT I think it's partly superficial. Because of my upbringing I've become very nasty and sarcastic, so I will tell you off quickly and walk away. That doesn't mean your comments don't hurt, I just don't show it.

This is not to disrespect anyone. I feel others will never look at us as equals. We aren't paid the same salaries, we don't get those promotions that we are qualified for etc. I just want to exit this life for good. I hope my bus comes soon
