I simply envy people who have terminal illnesses because you are certain to die soon. It sucks that this only happens to people who don't want to live or who love to live. I would do anything to trade places with one of these people, so my family wouldn't be ashamed to say why I died

me too. i would love to get a disease that guarantees me death within a year max.
i wouldn't have to kill myself then.
i remember intentionally eating the green part if i found a green part on chips.
because i heard it's cancerous.

Even if my family was alive, I wouldn't care what they thought--But for people like us, the advantage of having a terminal illness is that we would then qualify for Euthansia, either in Vermont or Oregon here in the US(both allow out of state residents), or at Pegasos Dignatas in Switzerland

I live in Brazil and here it is practically impossible to get euthanasia, here you just suffer and wait to die, but even so I wouldn't care if in the end I really died

I understand as I also just wish to be gone, I just want to be free from the suffering of existing, to cease existing and never suffer ever again is all I personally hope for, I always suffer so much from being trapped in this existence without the option to just reliably cease existing and never exist ever again, it terrifies me how a human can suffer for so long.

Well, if they were not planning to die soon, it really sucks.

I know 2 people with terminal cancer

Believe me, if you want a serene, dignified peaceful death. That's really not the way to go.....

what's the gun laws like there? if i lived in for example america, i know what my method would be. HOWEVER THIS IS NOT ENCOURAGING you to do anything. i was just asking a question. i hope things get better for you, so you don't need to do something to yourself.

These are two reasons I think being envious of those with terminal physical illness is the wrong way to go about things. While we may not want to stay on this Earth (a decision I respect and think more people should too), it is one that many people do not hold. I don't know how but many people look forward to tomorrow or have "something to live for". To be in that mindset and have that taken away is something to be pitied, not envied imo

Another thing is that these illnesses often come with very harsh tolls on the body. There's a reason those fentanyl lollipops exists for those with cancer, it is very painful.

Lastly, I want to note one thing. I do believe that depression/anxiety are terminal illness. That may not be the most accurate descriptor, but these are deadly diseases that do have a mortality rate, suicide or not (look up OCD all cause mortality)

What about Bolivia or Peru? I am not too familiar with border travel but based on research it appears that Nembutal (the holy grail) is far more accessible on your continent than any other no?

I would trade places with someone who has cancer or anything terminal that will kill me in days, weeks, months, etc.

Same, they get the good death drugs. The ones that actually give you the painless, peaceful, not scary death.

The ones we should all have access to.
