• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I moved in a few months ago and I'm still with the same therapist who is an hour and a half from my home. Today she came to talk about looking for a psychologist closer to home, but I don't want to! I feel that if I go to another therapist, I will lose all my progress and my suicidal thoughts will come back. I don't want to lose her, I'm anxious and panicked.

Ask her if she can do telehealth. Therapy via Skype or over the phone.

You could tell your Psychologist that you are happy with her, and how things are going. You could tell her that you don't want to lose the progress you have made together. Maybe you could call or email her and explain this to her.

I recognize your anxiety and distress. In response to that, if it were me, I would very simply ask her why she made the suggestion.

Edit: Just re-read the OP. She comes to you, and not you to her?

Can you meet her halfway? Lots of libraries have meeting rooms that you can use for free. Maybe you can find a place in the middle.

I don't think she would ever deny you of seeing her, shes probably just worried about the drive and think it may be a little easier on you with someone closer. I would voice with her that you are happy with her and don't want to see anyone else and see how she responds.
