Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I overthink absolutely everything , i beat myself up everyday over past decisions. I spend my days inside thinking, I lost my job during the pandemic I was in training to be a pilot but because of COVID I dropped my training. I want to get back in the loop and stop thinking. Is anyone else in the same situation ? Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone who has recovered ?

Can you get back into training by sending some correspondence and requestsing readmission?

A good way to get out of that thinking/dwelling loop is to get moving/doing. When you're focusing on doing things everything else kind of falls into the periphery and whilst it occasionally makes it's way back into focus it's usually partnered with some kind of new understanding and ultimately resolution and/or acceptance.

Don't beat yourself up. Work on righting your mistakes either directly oe indirectly by working on the things in yourself that caused you to make those mistakes and you'll find your way to pride and fulfillment. (saying that makes me feel a bit cringe but it is true so I'm leaving it). Honestly personal development is genuinely rewarding. Plus everyone loves a comeback kid, right? I'm not surw if your regrets are purely academic or if there's some interpersonal issues involves. People will see decency in you and respond accordingly when you address and own your misgivings but it also provides a kind of inner strength and acceptance where you don't need others to respond positively because you know in yourself that you're decent and guilt free. It's rare to find people who are genuinely honest with themselves because there's a kind of barrier you come up against in the form of a knee jerk response to feeling bad but oddly as soon as you accept your faults and address them with an openess to being flawed and attempts to remedy it it's really liberating and you suddenly realise that those things that you instinctively feared were actually not so bad at all. Nothing in fact.

I'm a preachy twat I know. It really is true though. Having experienced this myself I feel like I have to share it and yoy did ask lol. I absolutely am an overthinker like yourself but you can turn it into a gift if you apply it in the right areas.

Real truth!

I don't know where you live but I know that here where I live the pilot course is quite expensive so I understand that you being unemployed complicates your chance to come back. If you could get another job and go back to the course I think that would be the best thing you could do and I think it would help you a lot, not only because it would occupy your time and mind, but also because you would be doing something you really enjoy.

I really hope you can turn this situation around.

Take care. I wish you the best :)
