I dont fear death. Its the process of dying from disease!.

And that's what is driving me in my final days for a different exit. It gives me a sense of control. Otherwise, the disease will kill me slowly like it is now. Especially, with inadequate health care.

It sounds so horrible dying from a disease. I do not see how anyone could not be scared of that. It is terrifying how our bodies can torture us. I do not fear death at all personally as I believe it to be the end of all suffering. Nothing can hurt us when we are dead.

It is so cruel how the society denies people the option of a peaceful exit and they have to die painfully and slowly from disease. I'm sorry that it has come to this point for you. I hope you find relief from suffering.

Disease is a terrible thing. It is the feeling of not being in control of your life that scares me and having something inside your body taking over your mind as well as body.

It is human nature to feel like we have choice in our lives and can change our paths. A slow protracted death is pure torture for some people.

I understand as well about having bad healthcare as this simply increases the worry for people which does not help you to get better and heal.

I hope you find peace soon no mater what you decide.

yeah, I already watched my mother struggle through a painful cancer death. It was the worst thing I have ever had to witness. It kills me that she went through so much pain. It has left me with guilt and PTSD. I sometimes think that I don't deserve the N that I have. I wished my mother could have been afforded that peaceful death instead :'(

doctors have a dilemma in dealing with terminal patients. They cannot cure or kill. I think it worsened following the British doctor who murdered many patients in recent Years. He eventually ctb in jail.

Sorry to hear of your loss Rational. It is horrible that we have had to witness our mothers go through harsh illnesses. They both deserved peaceful exits. Everybody does. Disease and old age related health problems are shitty. Euthanasia for all. Because life is hard enough.
