i cant comment on 'Exit Bag and Inert Gas MegaThread'? i want to ask the guy a question about how to use the bag.

'I have long hair, so I secure the end of the hose at the back of my head with a hair elastic. '
but in the next few sentence he said :
'The bag will gradually inflate above your head. It will take a minute or two to reach full inflation.'

how can he secure the end of the hose to the back of his head and then inflate the bag 'above ur head ' ??

i know i can just forgot about the 'secure the end of the hose but just want to ask if i am missing something

Forget that guy. You want it as far from the bottom of the bag as possible. You want where the gas is coming in & where excess gas & the last gasp of carbon dioxide are going out to be on opposite ends. You don't want the entrance & exit to be so close to each other. Makes sense, right? I'm taping the hose up at the top of the inside of my bag as I was taught by someone who successfully CTB'd, and imo it's the best way.

I would think it would be fine as long as you still have your wits about you so you remember to hyperventilate & remember all the details of every last thing that needs to be done.

Yes, that's one of the steps, they say it's a critical step. It should be there in the megathread or the pph or whatever you're reading.

to hyperventilate means to breath fast and deep, to lower carbon dioxide in your blood
