I do not understand how you can see eternal nothingness as scary, as we simply do not experience anything, just like before we were born. We were all perfectly fine not existing until we were forced to live. There is no more suffering. Life is the scary thing for me instead. I also fear darkness and nothingness but the most of them all is if an afterlife actually exists, whether it be heaven/hell or reincarnation or whatever. But I prefer to think that everything will be just as before we were born: a void where we dont feel anything cause we dont exist. I prefer to think that anything is better than existence and living.
