hypothetical: how would someone hypothetically obtain fentanyl? how do you befriend a pusher?

this is purely a hypothetical post, but i was just wondering how one would hypothetically obtain fentanyl to OD and suicide.
the obvious answer is go to a junkie street and talk to the ones who look the most out of it.
but that's easier said than done.
they might tell you to fuck off because you seem like an undercover cop.
"excuse me sir, do you know where i can buy some fentanyl, please?" lol.

i guess you could pretend to only want to buy weed.
then buy some weed from whatever plug/source you find, and then you have a "friend" that you can hypothetically ask for a fentanyl source when he trusts you.

what do you think?

buying it on the darknet is probably easier and "safer"
street fent is usually full of fillers and other drugs so you really can't be sure how much actual fent you will consume
