• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

That seems like the biggest torture for someone like me who loves eating. I could never do it. Also not drinking seems fairly impossible. I know that people have done it before, but you have to have a really strong will to go through with it.

The Jain religion allows voluntary starvation as their only acceptable form of suicide. But, I think, only if you are old. You might search Youtube for "Jain woman in India starves self to death". I watched it years ago. She had the full support of her family and community, and I think her death was peaceful.

To me, it sounds like a horrible way to go. I would rather the dying process be over quickly than to die a slow death. I know I could never ctb this way. Whatever happens, I wish you the best.

Thanks. I am not considering it per se, was just trying to get some info. Wish you the same!

Even without food, water will keep you going well beyond the 45 days or so. As long as your body has something to digest, it will keep functioning for a while.

After so long without water, that's when it becomes painful. Your mouth dries out, and the tongue and skin in your mouth becomes brittle and starts cracking. That is a whole new kind of pain there. I'd rather deal with a toothache.

It's going to be painful. Most people who commit suicide this way are on tons of opiates, which dull the hunger. I know it's not uncommon for people to do this in nursing homes.
