Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

So I became placed in a psych ward after telling my dotor about my plan to commit suicide. I have been here for 4 days. I feel terrible. I don't know how to survive this. I still really want to die and I feel very trapped in life. Please give me some advice on how to survive this?

I appreciate any reply.

Participate in the schedule as much as you can. I know sometimes you won't feel up to it, but sitting and ruminating is probably worse. Eat all the meals. Take showers. Etc. (Can't say I took my own advice much)

I just stay in bed and go on my phone, I know some wards don't allow phones which sucks. If there are any groups go to those, entertain yourself with the goings on with the other patients, especially the schizophrenics, find out who the nice members of staff are talk to them.

1) do not offer any info
2) keep your head down and unnoticed
3) If they have some form of activities, like painting, or other hobbies, get involved, might keep you seen as "cooperative
4) DO NOT argue with the doctors or nurses EVER, it is a no-win situation always

Unnoticed and cooperative and get out.

How do you charge your phone on there since most likely they wouldn't allow the charging cables?

You're allowed cables that are 30cm, short enough so you can't strangle yourself. You can also just hide your cable, which is what I did when I was on an acute ward. On a ward with less restrictions now.

Yeah 0/2 for me. The pay phones (free, but metal like that) at the last place were a nightmare. One would degrade into static all the time. Really makes you feel alone.

yup I was at a place with the payphone things like that. but usually the nurses would have a phone you'd have to ask for. and they wouldnt even let you dial it yourself.

I also went to one that actually allowed smoking which was awesome. all the others I'm up asking the nurse for nicotine gum every hour.

Yeah I could get a lozenge every two hours and wear a patch.

Pretend to slowly change over time for the better and once you're out you can go through with your plans

It's really not that bad. Find ways to pass the time, I mostly read books or did puzzles. Sometimes the other people there can be genuinely kind, and having a friend makes it much easier. Lying your way out is easy, too.
