Jersey, an island and not the cool tropical type of one with volcanoes and its own endemic species. Which basically takes away my option to online date and meet up. And since everyone knows everyone in island communities anything I do in public feels set in stone. I don't wanna become "that weirdo who's desperate for cuddles" that people talk about

I firmly believe we men should express our love for each other more. Hug the homies! Genuine love from a friend feels the same as genuine love from a partner. Getting that close to a woman is the same as getting that close to a man.

Oh believe me, cuddling without sex is a joy.

Sure some people don't like cuddling but then equally some like cuddling but don't want sex.

I'm sure there must be hook ups for cuddles, why on Earth shouldn't there be.

Totally agree, I'm not a big "man hugger" but one friend in particular has a great handshake that pulls one in for a super man hug. It always feels warm and genuine. I don't see him often but it's almost a highlight.

It's also a culture thing, I'm British and we naturally kiss and touch friends much less than some continental European cultures - especially the guys.
