Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

There really isn't a "best time" to do it.

I suppose once you have your final affairs sorted that would be a better time. But even then I personally find myself making excuses, and aiming for a level of perfection I don't think is achievable.

Only you will know when your ready. Nobody but yourself can determine that for you.

It's all very personal.

Only you can decide if/when you want to stick your arm out and signal the bus to stop for you. If you're having any doubts, or you're not sure, there's nothing wrong with waiting

I think the "best" time is to do it when you have a proper plan and have done a deep research about your method, have left all your goodbye letters/videos, bank account and credit card passwords so as to terminate your accounts more easily, etc.

Once doing that, you'll realize when the best time to leave is. It could be when you just can't cope with life and can't even leave your bed at all. In other words, it could be when you stop functioning as a "normal" human being.

I was like that some months ago. I was gonna ctb on Jan, 21st and it felt "the best time to leave" but I regretted it and decided to give life one more (and the last) chance.
