tldr: what are some ways to handle the taste of sn?

maybe drinking through a straw or having a lollipop after? i don't have sn yet and ofc wont taste test it when i get it, but i think the taste might stop me from consuming the right amount. just for fun i made a glass of 50ml of water with a bunch of table salt (no clue how much but definitely way less than the sn will be) and took a sip. it tasted HORRIBLE. i already was prepared for how bad it would be but i know the sn will be much much worse when the time comes. idk how ill finish that small 50ml, and take a back up dose when i throw up..

Out of the videos I've seen; people have smoked a cig after ingesting, chewing gum/candy (can't remember 100% but it might've been on a thread here of someone's log of SN experiences) and drinking juice. On the flip side however it's all in vain because most end up choking/vomiting multiple times before laying down/passing out. People have described the taste as an oceans worth of salt

This is all my opinion on what I've watched/read

I hate the fact that even with good antiemetics, you still have to vomit. At least that's what people who ingested SN and survived it, say. Also in almost all SN videos people vomit, but in those videos we dont know if they took any antiemetics.

Maybe this question is a bit silly… I couldn't find any information about it. I'm curious whether mixing chocolate with an SN solution can reduce the salty taste.

Same, it's never been my preferred method personally. The regime is too much for my ADHD and it looks unpleasant to experience. I see the benefits of maybe some last interactions with people before you pass out. Perhaps listening to your favorite song one last time.

I would not mix anything with the solution itself. Again no experience, but it could mess with the potency. Maybe diluting it or effecting the chemical reaction since you already have to mix it with water. Someone else might know more but logically I feel like you shouldn't

I remember of a member who said it was 10x more salty than sea water. Another member said it was "salty as hell". Reading it was quite shocking to me, but not surprising, considering it's a salty poison. It's also my method so let's hope I won't chicken when the time comes.

I tried to test-drive a SN ingestion by mixing 10-15g of table salt in plain water and drinking it. It felt horrible, but I managed it. Anyone who is serious about this method may do this "test drive".

If someone does this "test-drive" it's highly recommended to drink plenty of water immediately in order to ease the strain the kidneys must endure to expel that extra salt from the body. Also, those who have digestive problems and ulcers shouldn't try this.

Thanks for the tips, but my kidneys aren't in a good shape, so I won't take the risk to see doctors (I hate them and they will ask questions), but interesting to know 👍

1.
Use 100 ml instead of 50 ml. I'm not sure, though, if it will taste significantly different. How "salty" something tastes seems to depend on each person's taste buds.

As an experiment, I made a saturated salt solution and briefly put some of it in my mouth. To me, it tasted like seawater; later, I learned that seawater actually contains much less salt.

Apparently, at a certain point there's so much salt that the taste buds don't even notice when the concentration increases further.

2.
Use affirmations or autosuggestions to make the salt taste better to you, and shift your focus—for example: "This magic potion lets me drift off to sleep and wake up in a better world."

3.
Maybe try a low-salt diet for a few days or even weeks to reawaken your taste for salt?

4.
Some people also use lidocaine or benzocaine as a mouth spray. But I'd try it out first to see if it actually makes things better.

There is some way to put taste buds in sleep mode? It will be alot easier by doing it..
