how to develop pneumonia from cold

been hit with cold for about a week or so, its not getting better and i heard it can develop into pneumonia, if any of you knows something about this pls share.

maybe there's some stuff that i can take to make it worsen and compromise my immune system?

if i can die from illness it'd be great. also i don't mind the pain.
