Hi, sorry to bother you all !

I have attempted suicide on September and failed because someone found me, for a while I thought life could get better but spoiler alert - it got worse. I make everyone suffer and don't understand how anyone may want me to be alive.

So ! I recently came across magnesium chloride hidden in my room, that I ordered a few months ago in order to ctb. But I can't remember what I was going to do with that or how I should use it or with what other substance. I searched on the internet but didn't find anything with the keywords magnesium chloride and suicide.

Do anyone has an idea on how to use it to ctb ?

I really hope I can find a way to ctb using it because I don't have access to SN in France >< Aaaah, SN seemed so peaceful, I wish it was accessible in my country...

I wish you all a great evening !

Good day, Ely. Great question. Generally, it is not recommended to hastily pick a chemical, salt, or other compounds as a method of suicide. Acting rationally and doing it right will save you time and suffering. I don't know about you, but I'd rather wait a couple of months for something I ordered that will assure peaceful death rather than gulping down whatever I can find conducive to dying sooner. To answer your question, not quite, but perhaps. Clinical toxicologic testing for magnesium chloride is insufficient. Therefore, a "recommended" dose for purposes of suicide is next to impossible to establish. By overdosing on magnesium chloride, you will experience electrolyte imbalances and toxicities (hypermagnesemia & hypocalcemia). You will begin to feel weak and vomit. Depending on dosage and time, you may begin to defecate yourself. As bradycardia, respiratory depression, and hypotension set in, accompanied by flaccid paralysis, you will be confused. Other heart complications such as severe and lethal asystole will probably be your demise. How long it will take for you to die is uncertain.
Proposed timeline (dependent of dose):
1. Nausea and vomiting
2. Hypotension, bradycardia, muscle weakness, mental unresponsiveness and decreased reflexes.
3. Respiratory depression, paralysis, and coma
4. Asystole, complete heart block, respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, and death.
Mild hypocalcemia may cause seizures.

Note that the mentioned timeline, symptoms, and/or certainty is not to be taken as definite facts applicable in any case. Cases of magnesium chloride overdoses are rare, and deaths are even rarer. Overdoses are often in the milieu of iatrogenic, veterinary, chronic exposures in cats or dogs. Good luck, traveler.

I can't thank you enough for taking the time for looking all of that up to give me all these informations <3

I figured that magnesium chloride alone would not be very efficient, but I guess I ordered it because I wanted to mix it with another product or idk...

Good luck to you too, I wish you peace in the rest of your life !

it's an electrolyte. death from electrolyte imbalance is slow, painful, and noticeable - and reversible with treatment. unless you've got a long term condition that depletes your body's balance (such as an eating disorder or other illness), your odds of dying from magnesium chloride ingestion are extremely low.

iirc - do your own research on this, don't just take my word for it - it can be used to help plants or gardens grow, relax muscles (in a bath), laxative for humans (unsure about safety in animals), and in smaller doses as a supplement. but for suicide it is useless.

Thank you, Small dreams, your words really means 1 lot to someone with anxiety ☺️💕

Thanks to Myopy too, I'll do some more research to check and maybe I'll use them to relax muscle in a bath to avoid waisting them xD

I wish you two a great day !
