• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Here's a journal from the American Joirnal of Military Medicine. From what I gather, as long as you were drinking regular water, you'd most likely loose consciousness prior to death, but would have severe headaches and cramps due to the rapid reduction of sodium.

The forced uptake of water at the cellular level would lead to swelling in the brain, which in severe cases would prove fatal.

I don't think many people can force themselves to drink that much water, Most documented cases were from people who had other underlying conditions.

Essentially you'll die of acute hyponatremia, low blood sodium.

Some chronic symptoms:
Headache, nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps, lethargy, weakness, restlessness, disorientation, ataxia.

Some acute symptoms:
Seizures, coma, permanent brain damage, respiratory arrest, brain stem herniation, death.

So it's probably pretty painful and uncomfortable, muscle cramps can be exceptionally painful towards the higher end of the pain scale, and this is assuming you can force yourself to drink enough water, which is one of the issues. The main issue if you do drink enough might be how long it takes to die this way, you'll probably suffer with at least a headache and vomiting for a long time, it causes cerebral edema i.e. it causes brain swelling, so it might feel like your skull is being crushed in a vice. Also if you don't die, you might be left in a coma and/or with permanent brain damage.
