In 1993 the Japanese writer Wataru Tsurumi published a book called "The Complete Suicide Manual", this work became one of the most controversial and controversial in the country.

Now, I feel like the book is some kind of mockery, or it wasn't written to be taken seriously, or it had another purpose. The main reason, they are their painful and impractical methods. Where they are: Drowning, burning, freezing, decapitation, among some methods I don't think it would take

At night, alone, in a nice snowy landscape, with little clothes and a lot of booze, freezing could be fine? Not the easiest of course but to me it stands out among those other methods as much nicer, still impractical though

Those methods are some of the most awful ones. Self immolation sounds to me like the worst. Nobody should have to resort to painful methods like that, we all deserve the option of euthanasia.

Have you read it? I can't find the original 198 pages, the translation 98 pages seems not enough to conclude it's a mockery though.

Every method is bad, painful, ineffective... sounds familiar. But he was probably not selling anything in dark net, so he didn't add "X is the holy grail of peaceful methods."

That was probably the best time of the internet. Everything was simple, text based, highly informative, straight to the point. You don't see ads in everything you read, no infinite scrolling for nothing interesting.
