How much time does it take to faint with plastic bag?

Ten years, so only do this if your schedule is clear.

I give this nonsense answer, because the question is a nonsense question. Unless you are an actual toddler, or so intoxicated that you're about to faint anyway, you will tear the plastic bag off.

The build-up of CO2 will be extremely uncomfortable and panic-inducing, and you will remove the bag before being anywhere near fainting. This is guaranteed.

Ages.
I tried to ctb some years ago by taking lots of sleeping pills and then putting a bag on my head.
I ended up breaking into pieces while I was asleep lol.

This.

There is even a documentary by one of the most popular science YouTubers (see below) that analyzed what is the "scariest thing" a human being can experience — and the conclusion was that exposure to too much CO2 (carbon dioxide) — as one would experience suffocating with e.g., a plastic bag — was the "scariest thing" — in that it uniformly caused the most physiological destress/panic.

Not sure I completely agree with the methodology used in coming to that conclusion... but still likely a very bad way to go.

Part about CO2 comes at the very end... starting at about 36:30.

This was my original method a decade ago and it isn't plausible without drugs or restraints. This is assuming of course that you can get past the idea of suffocating to begin with.

Well, if that's really the case I guess I can rest assured that I've already experienced the most terrifying thing I can.

But yeah, it's a horrific experience and I think there's very little you can do that will stop you from getting that bag off or tearing it. It barely takes a couple of seconds to start panicking, and you will do absolutely anything to get it off. Human beings are surprisingly strong in panic mode. Definitely not a viable method.

It's terrible that way. Hot and humid. Super uncomfortable. Plus you take the bag off after you pass out. I tried this in jail with a trash bag. Not a good idea.
