How much does the huge increase in hyper-violent crime impact your decision to peacefully self-deliver?

Personally, I don't even want to leave the house--or recliner--as I read the news about gang attacks and thug crime. It is simply exploding nowadays in the U.S. The chances of being (again) the victim of violent criminals is a major reason I want to leave this living hell. I want to be fully in charge--at least as much as is possible--of my dying. I thought N was the golden ticket, but the threads on hideous taste, choking, gagging, not to mention the threat of LE and legal consequences, turned me off. Not to mention not wanting to enrich any sort of cartel. Talk about hyper-violent. Depressing to say the least.

What about you? How much does the threat of/ increased odds of being a victim of violent crime impact your thought process re: ctb?

It has no effect on me because the reality is that where I live the increase in crime is truly contained almost exclusively in certain areas and I don't go into those areas. Thjis is true of many metro areas.

It doesn't impact me, I don't even get exposed to much news honestly, no energy to seek it out on my own. It doesn't change my desires, if anything it makes me feel worse to know there are those out there who want to live but will be subjected to horrible things they don't deserve. So I suppose if any impact it makes it stronger.
