It's not really a viable method anymore. Twenty years ago, over the counter sleeping pills could kill you if you took enough. Now they use a different formula. It would take like three full bottles to even get close to a lethal dose.
Now, if you could get a prescription for Lunesta or Ambien, that could work, but it's still not a guarantee, and it'll be hard to find a doctor that will prescribe you more than a month supply at a time.I've taken up to about 100 10mg diazepam and just slept. I don't know much about over the counter ones but benzodiazipines haven't done shit.

I'm wishing you peace. I know it's a difficulty figuring out the least shitty way to die. SN is a method famously touted on here. Not sure if it's effectiveness as I've not taken it before lol

Getting N seems like the most peaceful way to go.
Me? I'm going exit bag with inert gas asphyxiation if I ever do get on the bus. But that's because it's incredibly easy for me to get, use, I know I won't be found for several hours, and it's supposedly pain-free.

Definitely don't think you can overdose on diphenhydramine. The vomiting will be very painful, I've done so many times accidentally after taking around 400-500mg.
I don't have much experience with other sleeping pills aside from lunesta, which I've heard is very difficult to overdose on. I've taken up to 9mg at a time and it sure does feel like you're dying, but here I am.
Though I wasn't attempting to end my life, It was very unpleasant everytime. So I can't imagine what kind of pain it would bring on if you took an amount with ctb in mind.
Overall I've only heard that any commonly prescribed medicine or pill you can buy at the store is nearly impossible to kill yourself with.Similar threads
