I am definitely not an expert although it is my preferred method, but from everything I have seen and read I think that as long as the dosage is right and nothing goes wrong, the whole process should take within 30-45 minutes. Someone else might have more knowledge on this. Keep in mind that for most of that time you will most likely be unconscious as your body shuts down. That process probably begins within a few minutes.
