How long does it take for SN to kill you?

SN megathread says that it takes 1-4 hours depending on the person's metabolism. Some of the other sources say that it might take up to 8 hours. I won't be found for 8 hours if I CTB by SN. But if I am found after 8 hours and still didn't die then i would regret attempting SN.

So, how long does it take maximum to die from SN? To be honest I don't trust "hours" because human body is so complicated and I am worried it might take a lot. So, is 8 hours enough?

8 hours should be more than enough. I'd be surprised if anyone survived for more than an hour. You'd go unconscious in about 20 minutes.

You pass out after like 15 minutes. Sometimes it goes longer but never hours.
