Not long enougv to do the job, I can tell you that. How about you?

I haven't counted but once I learned by chance how to hold it right, it was for a dozen seconds or two, maybe even longer?

Used to be able to hold for 1:20ish as a kid

When i first tried it was like 20 seconds i could hold my breath then extreme pain started and i had to breathe . Then i read up on freedivers. and i practiced a little with the correct kind of practice that freedivers do. Now I am able to hold my breath 2 minutes 30 seconds. I'd like to get to 5 mintues like freedivers can. Then it's soyonara for me freediving blackout here i am!

Freediving blackout is painless . i'd like to try freediving blackout after i get to 5 minutes holding my breath. Can you describe how you practiced ?

I didn't have any technique or anything, just a lot of free time and persistence :)
