I need to know what kind of rope to get to hang, and how I can buy one without looking suspicious to people living with me

Also I just read the "how to hang yourself" guide and you can really just use a necktie?? Does it work?

I bought a rope last May, in a huge construction supermarket, there was a huge selection. It is better to buy a smooth rope. I bought a rough rope and it was unpleasant for the skin. I had to partially tie the rope with tape. I made a Lynch loop, and tied a brick to one end to make it easier to throw the rope over a tree branch. I bought 20 meters, the price was low. I also bought a folding stool there. I wanted to hang myself like my idol, but I couldn't... I thought that I wanted to die a more painless death. I tried to hang myself at home, holding the rope with my hands from above, the feeling was terrible. Then I left bruises on my neck on both sides. It's not the same as just holding your breath

Hmm if I told them I got a rope for rope jumping, that'd still feel suspicious in my opinion, so I'm thinking of buying a rope and hiding the fact I did. Though I'll need to know how to do that
works sometimes. their tensile strengths vary greatly.
Oh ok. I'm assuming I tie it like how I would for a rope. Which kind of neckties would work btw?

I know what you mean by needing to hide it, it's one of my fears too, does not help that i have a mother that cleans almost every inch of the house, also they sell ropes in bulk or kilos here, imagine how hard it will be hiding a single kilogram rope from my family

You want something 1/2 inch or 12mm thick. Get the length you need.
You might need to buy it when you need it, no storage problems.

I used a bed sheet or blanket to hang myself, it's comfortable and it doesn't hurt that much but the marks that remain on my neck afterwards are visible.
