how effective are sleeping pills and alcohol

want to stock up on any CVS shelf accessible pills, down them, and go. what's the most effective one if there is any at all? if i fail would it cause lasting damage?

unreliable, unless its something really powerful, it won't do anything, maybe you'll get liver damage; but as far as ctb goes, the odds of you ctbing is little to none.

i've tried to od on 80mg of xanax + alcohol before, didn't work at all.

I saw reference here about a book call, The Peaceful Pill. It's super expensive on Amazon, $100 or so. I couldn't buy it because I share the amazon with my kids and they would see the purchase. Search online at other sites, I was lucky to buy a used one, still expensive, but cheaper. I haven't received it yet but I'm really hoping it will give me my answer. There are no effective sleeping pills sold now. Years ago n was available as a sleeping pill and it was of course very effective. But that was long ago.

There are none. "Sleeping pills" nowadays are z-analogues or at best some mild benz like diazepam. Combined with alcohol it will make you go refurbish the neighbors garden or cook toothpaste in a pan with zero memory of it when you wake up.

I known 2 person to die of opites overdose. They injected 70mg or more. Not orally
