I am currently planning to CTB in a few weeks as I'm moving back to my home country where I grew up in; my mom will be staying behind with her husband.
Today my therapist told me that if I'm going to CTB I might as well just do it here where I live, since doing it in my home country is just going to cause more trouble. The problem is now that she said that I feel hella guilty for doing it away from my mom and causing more disruptions in her life. However I also have the desire to do it in my home country because I feel home and this is where I want to be left at peace. You know, see my friends and rest of my family one more time and spend time saying my goodbyes. I seriously don't know what to do now.

**my opinion**

we come into this world alone and we leave it alone. everyone dies in the end just some sooner or later whether it be illness, an accident, murder, etc. suicide has always been the most stigmatized in society because struggling, no matter how severe the struggle and persevering through life is praised and some people just don't realize that some people just simply cant. no matter how or when you die it will hurt someone but in the end if you truly love someone, especially someone that is suffering you would let them go. but op, if you're having second thoughts maybe you should put a pause and think about things.

Thank you I rlly appreciate your insight! But really it's not second thoughts, because the decision that I'm gonna do it is already concrete I genuinely cant take it anymore. I've come to terms with my decision and its okay. Its just a matter of getting over the guilt and deciding where im gonna do it :)

I don't think we can expect a 100% recovery rate from these thoughts so there's no use putting blame on those who don't recover. Regardless of what happens I would like you to see your home and family again if that's important to you.
