• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I want to have the courage to kill myself

How do people manage not to commit suicide?

Wherever I am, when I hear about the hardships they are going through—or have gone through—I ask myself: how do they manage not to end their lives?

If I had even a quarter of their problems, I would kill myself on the spot.

They don't have the genuine knowledge a lot of the time. Before gaining the peaceful pill handbook I was completely stuck. Of course you get ideation and think of things like a massive overdose of pills etc but as backed up here, those types of methods don't work and you know there is a complete lack of certainty.

I think most people probably have some sense of total burden keeping them stuck in the situation. Like if you are supporting family, are an anchor for people in your life and feel sense of responsibility.

I don't have much left of these things personally and yet even the tiny bit that I do - my immediate family (on whom I am a burden, not a support provider) - has remained the big reason I have not been able to go through with it, despite having means now sorted.

But I wonder the same thing constantly now.

I can't get the thought of it out of my own head, so I can't help but wonder just how many people around me - or just around the world - are going through similar levels of pain and suffering and for how long that kind of thing can be sustained.

They either lack the means to do it peacefully or have something, mental or physical, holding them back

A lot of people have support - family, partners, loved ones, etc - who help them deal with difficult things.

Lots of them growing up with a solid support system and don't deal with lifelong trauma. Being neurotypical and abled body also helps. Being born privileged in a right place at a right time etc.

Because there is no option to just instantly and peacefully cease existing, I always suffer so much from being trapped in this horrific, terrible world where humans are forced to exist with no limit as to how much they can be tortured, there's just so much terrible extreme cruelty in how humans have made dying peacefully illegal.

There's two kind of people i believe
One who can't CTB due to lack of a method
Others who are mentally strong and don't give up on life even if it's hard they fight

The others are a mystery to me. I so wish I could have enjoyed that life.

They have the mental resilience. Most of these others belong to the boomers or genX era. Our generations are more sensitive than it was earlier. You can fortify your mind with practice if you really want to enjoy that life, it's possible.
