• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

How do i survive, taking care after what something that is someone's, knowing it is what I dreamt of but will never truly achieve? How do I also cope with the fact that I will not be thanked or credited for it, or even worse, ridiculed as a loser for it, how do I remain resilient if I choose to suffer?

It sounds like you have saddled yourself with a kind of burden, or perhaps just a great responsibility, though I'm not certain what exactly you mean. If you'd like advice, could you go into more detail, please? Or if you'd rather, we could just sit in this moment, while you reflect and we listen. Anything you'd be comfortable with.

It is a little difficult to answer without context- as the above member suggested.

I suppose if it's something living, like a child or pet or plant (lol,) then, you would need to focus on their needs. It isn't them ridiculing you. They presumably need your care so- I suppose you try to give it as best you can for their sake. I suppose you remember what it was like to be them and to be so reliant on another so, you try to be the support you wished you'd had. Hopefully, they will be grateful and build a strong bond with you, even if other people are less appreciative.

If it's inanimate- some creative work they've asked you to look after or something, I suppose you can either temry to appreciate it for what it is. Hope that people will appreciate the care you're taking of it. With something inanimate, you could presumably refuse to be responsible for it easier. Suggest that someone else might be better suited looking after it.

Ultimately, I suppose you have to try to be the bigger person. Still commit to your responsibilities, even if other people belittle you. That's likely especially important if the thing you will be responsible for is sentient. Ultimately, it's not their fault that other people are treating you this way.
