I'll try itWim Hoffs method for holding your breath is really good for calming you down quickly. It's a bit weird at first doing the breathing but you push through it and suddenly feel calm and easy. You can find it on yourube. It's quick and easy.
Benzos of course are verry effective. The Z drugs too. Ambien/zolpidem works faster than any of the benzos in my experience.
ThanksGo easy on the benzos and Z drugs if you go down that route. Tolerance and addiction come fast and withdrawals are horrendous. Dangerous even.
Why they won't prescribe benzos?Psychiatrists won't prescribe benzos. Emdr therapy isn't helping.
Because they're addictive and young people use them to get highWhy they won't prescribe benzos?
The meds available are mostly ineffective.Oh, shit, I didn't see the mwntion of benzos in OP. My mistake.
Would people with severe ptsd and ocd have ended up in an asylum in the old days? They uses to get handed out like smarties. Still do in aomw places but many have stopped. They're easy to get online but there's thw risk of getting fakes which, whilst often quite strong aren't ideal obviously. They tend to be a different benzo but can contain all sorts. Dark net markets are a bit easier for guaging authenticity.

Oh ok. Here in my country they prescribe with no problem. I'm taking benzos.Because they're addictive and young people use them to get high
Wow. I read once that the mentally ill used to be chained to the wall in town centers. They were mocked, insulted, etc.I expect in some cases yeah. Depends how far back we're talking when you say 'old days'. There was a timw when anyone with the slightest disability, no matter how sound of mind, would find themselves shipped off to a colony. People can be peetty harsh.
