Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I found a source through a sus online source. I'm not too sure if it's pure (or actually SN for that matter), but so far, most of the people who claim to have SN are either gone already or don't have enough messages to PM yet
