How did you first find SaSu?

I was in a really dark place (obvs) and googled "pro-suicide site".
I'm lucky and glad I found this place instead!

I was researching about a really specific, non conventional method (I can't remember exactly which one now, I had a list of those at the day) and found a thread saying that was a really bad idea.

That's pretty much my story as well. I found LAH first and was planning on partial hanging. I wanted more instructions — diagrams, photos, videos even. It took my to that thread, and now I'm on this site almost every day.

Same for me. I looked through LAH periodically over the last 10 or so, but finding my life in ruin in the last few months and deciding it truly is the time I needed more resources about hanging.

I was interested in joining a cult to possibly add some meaning to my life and someone had suggested I look on here there might be a post about cults because Google searches were getting me nowhere. Not so interested in joining a cult anymore but there are certainly some interesting characters on this page. Maybe I'll form my own suicide cult or something could be a laugh...

this was basically why i came here. someone on another site made ss out to be a horrible place that would make me want to kill myself

You can understand to someone who hasn't gone through serious suicidal thoughts or depression why a site like this is horrible... I like it here though
