Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Im just curious to know. you can edit your own post when you first post them, but after about 6 hours you can't anymore. you also can't delete your own posts. what is the reason for this? why not just let people delete or edit their own posts?
Cause then people would go about deleting what they had posted, but if someone has quoted them it still shows & well reading the whole thing can become bloody confusing, seen it on other forums & it turns a thread into a clusterfudge.
You can delete your own posts within the 6 hour time limit as long as it isn't the 1st post creating a new thread. However, if it is the 1st post creating a new thread and you want it to be deleted (assuming no other posts have been made), the you can tag a mod to request deletion (or at the very least to lock the thread). Tested this yesterday
