I'm just wondering how active any of us are in 'right to die' activism.

I can't say I am much. I'll sign the odd petition that comes along. I decided to be reasonably honest with the police that did my (IC SN) welfare check. I felt I had no reason to lie and could make a justified and reasonable argument. I suppose it just about worked because they did leave me with my SN- eventually.

In courses of conversation, I would probably be reasonably honest about how I felt. So, I don't go out of my way to fight for it but, I don't entirely hide how I feel either.

I think there's a risk to being honest though because, it's likely not so many leaps between advocating assisted suicide and being suspected of wanting it yourself.

How about you? Are you fearlessly speaking your mind and pushing for change or, are you trying to live under the radar?

The most outspoken I've been in public was reading an extremely moderate book by theologians about dying with dignity. But I'll sign petitions and openly discuss it with people I think I can be friendly with if the situation arises. Other than that I try to be discreet as I'm not much of a leader or risk taker.
