How can I stick to my ctb date without postponing

That is a good question I am struggling with as well. I think being as prepared as you can be and maybe even a little rehearsing might help.

Is there a particular reason to stick to a specific date?

I imagine giving myself a flexible week

I don't think you can if you want to be assured of a smooth departure.

You need to be absolutely certain and get over SI, and sometimes that doesn't happen on schedule.

You need to allow for the fact that you may change your mind. Lots of people do.

You may think of something at the last minute that you've forgotten to do and decide to wait. Many people push off their date at least once.

I know it's tempting to try and put everything on one day, but it often doesn't happen that way.
