• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't have any other way to go about this. I guess I'm just scared that it will be a horrible way to go. How bad does it hurt? How long?

It doesn't if you do it right. 10-20 seconds at most. There are videos on wpd and most people who have the correct setup lose consciousness within seconds.

Ah that is a lie.

The PPH labeled hanging as a non-peaceful method for a reason.
Yes, you will pass out quickly. But the pain of the rope digging deep into your skin will be there for those few moments.
And do not forget the time dilation people experience when they know that they are about to die. A few seconds can feel like eternity there.

You can reduce the pain by correctly placing the rope above your adams apple.
But fully removing the pain will sadly be impossible.

This is merely a hypothesis of mine but Ketamine might help you with the pain as it is also used in anasthesia.
Super easy to source as well from DH

Even then, I'd place it above other popular methods like SN when it comes to speed. I believe that some amount of pain is to be expected during ctb. A completely painless death isn't accessible for most of us (unless you have access to N, firearms or cliff or smth like that.)

It's definitely painful. But for the most part just very very uncomfortable. If you wanna go out with complete ease it's not really the ideal method.

The sensation of pain is different for each person. For me it is not painful provided the rope is not to thin for my bodyweight.
Time dilatation is probably an urban legend but the adrenaline rush is not.

I have a xanax and a small amount of Valium. Will this help? I mean it'll ease the anxiety if nothing else but I was hoping if I took enough to come close to knocking me out and go right before I fall asleep I may be less aware of what's happening to my body

This may be quite a NSFW confession. I'm into asphyxia/sexual suffocation, so I've been trying bags and belts for years, I think I pretty much know where the carotid artery is by now since I have enough practice for it but even after doing it for some minutes or seconds, my neck hurts around a 4/10 while pressing that artery, I passed out once unfortunately in my own hands but obviously didn't died since the belt fell on my bed and the pressure stopped. But I think it may be different while hanging since your weight plays a big role into it.

What type and diameter rope?
In your practice did it hurt?
