The thing about the bitch hope is that you can't control it yourself and make it go away. The bitch leaves when she is good and ready.Hope can certainly prolong our misery in some cases. Though in a rare optimistic mood I don't mind it. If I wanted to live, I'd prefer to have something to keep me going even through the bad times.

I don't even have hope these days as much as I have doubt about what I feel. I know how I feel, but I worry it's just me being dramatic, and like I'd somehow regret committing suicide⊠it's better when I remember I won't be around to regret it.

I think that hope often just leads to more suffering which is why I am glad that I have none. It can be painful losing hope. Life is very unfair and is extremely depressing. It seems like things only get worse. I personally think that having hope can often be delusional in a world where there is so much pain.Similar threads
