Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

For those who are depressed, do you think new effective treatments might come around in the next years to treat recurrent depression?
I can't know the future and maybe some revolutionary psychotherapy, meds, or something along the lines of ultra precise TMS might come around.
This could be specially useful for those of you with treatment resistant depression who are very young. I'm in my thirties so I could have some hope too

I didn't leave it up to treatments. I believe that humans have a lot of needs and that to function properly you have to work towards fulfilling all those needs. Healthy body healthy soul healthy exercise healthy relationships healthy food = health mind. But yeah if theres something deeper than that thats causing the MDD then sure treatments are evolving rapidly there is definitely hope that medicine will advance.
