It's kind of crazy to me how many people on here have a current significant other. I've seen many threads of those in loving relationships but still feel the need to be on SaSu. Personally I've never had good success with romantic relationships, and that's one of the reasons that will push me to CTB eventually. Since I believe that I'm not capable of love and I'll never find good love. But it's just interesting that many people have found a special person, and I wonder how that affects their need to CTB. Totally not judging anyone in this situation. I think if I was in a decent relationship though, this would definitely stop me from CTBing, at least not right away. I don't know? I can't say much because I haven't experienced one before. I was also thinking about just boyfriend/girlfriend here. I can't even imagine the stress of being in a marriage or having kids and wanting to CTB.

Relationships for me are weird. I'm usually miserable in them but it also distracts me from the much darker things in my past, so being single has been sending me spiralling further than I have in a long long time. I just can't be happy I guess

yeah i definitely feel like dating the right person would "fix" me. or at least motivate me to keep going. but from what I've heard from other people, it doesnt always work that way 😭 and i also dont want to put that burden on the other person

i feel like i have so much love within me with nowhere to go. i thought i wasnt capable of love at all too for the longest time but really I just repressed it because it hurts less that way to think that you are just incapable of it than when you know you have it in yourself but just never got a chance. i wonder if that might be the case with you too? i might be very unskilled at expressing love right now but I know deep inside i have it in me. i think most humans are fully capable of loving and being loved, save for people with mental illness that directly limits their ability to feel love in some way (like aspd). we just have a lot of barriers in our ways sometimes

in the meantime, im trying to channel that love into art or pets when I have the energy to do so :^) all better than just letting it fester inside.

I had my one true love and when he left I was emptied and worse than before, but I'll never regret all the sweetness I experienced with him 💜
