Venting Having a rough birthday

I'm too broke to afford weed anymore and my water was shut off, also im taking care of a cat that I don't want. Plus I've been cutting myself about twice a day for about 3 or 4 days. I keep trying to explain to my girlfriend why I want to ctb, but she's too much of a hoper to understand. She wants us to move in together sometime in a year but I don't know how to tell her that I won't survive half that long.

It's going to hurt her even more when I ctb because she won't bother coming to terms with the situation now. How fitting that I can't even have a convenient and stress-free death. I hope today is the last birthday I have to suffer through. Thank you for reading <3

I know you said you don't want the cat so I feel like you need to know the simple fact that you choose to care for this animal when you don't want to (and let's be honest here most people would not even when things were going okay, muchless if they were dealing with all the stuff you have going on right now) makes you a MUCH better person than anyone in my life right now.

Happy birthday! I'm sorry to hear that it's been sub par. I know it's childish but I believe birthdays should be fun days. From the thread it sounds like your gf and you aren't communicating the best. Hopefully you can have a good heart to heart and figure out if the relationship will keep going.
