Since few fucking years it started happening, although I know the true beginnings were much much older in fact, the large scale ABUSE and SOCIAL ENGINEERING around and inside gaming industry has been on the rise only lately, like few years, with even TODD FUCKING HOWARD himself telling gamers to "GO FUCK THEMSELVES AND JUST BUY HIS GAMES" as well as the director of halo infinity LITERALLY SAYING THE SAME - "SHUT THE FUCK UP, DON'T CRITICIZE, WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR LITTLE GAMES, WE CARE ABOUT MONEY, NOW GIVE IT TO US AND GO AWAY"

Fucking elitist pieces of shit, getting positions of power over triple A game studios by pure nepotism, fucking corporate rats with no experience with games, no FUCKING knowledge about them and even not 1 minute of playtime even IN FUCKING CANDYCRUSH get to DIRECT WHOLE FUCKING INDUSTRY (straight into the ground I hope). They are all graduates of business schools, human recources, analytics, social engineering and shit, NOT A SINGLE FUCKING DEV IN SIGHT IN ANY POSITION OF POWER AND DECISION MAKING.

Then they just fucking test the waters, and do limit tests on HOW MUCH THEY CAN FUCK OVER PEOPLE AND STILL GET MONEY, time and time again they are constantly lowering standards, to the point people LITERALLY GOT GASLIGHT into DEFENDING SHITTY, OUTSOURCED, SOUL-LACKING, MONEY GRABBING TITLES - like starfield for example. People started to GET FUCKING COMFORTABLE WITH BARE FUCKING MINIMUM.

And then, there are influencers - "Oh yeah, this game is SOOO GOOOD!!! PEOPLE, BUY IT, I'M A REBEL GAMER JUST LIKE YOU! I SHIT ON CORPOS JUST LIKE YOU! BUT BUY THIS GAME, IT'S SO GOOD, I'M DEFINITELY NOT BOUGHT AND ENGINEERED BY MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES, DEFINITELY NOT BLACKROCK™ OR TENCENT™ OWNED CREATED ARTIFICIALLY PERSONA! HA HA, THAT WOULD BE CRAZY!"

Why, why are people such fucking retarded monkeys, who are SO EASILY, EFFORTLESSLY manipulated into wanted behaviors, why are they so easily gaslighted, so easily lead on and so prone to getting their brains rewritten?!

I literally have a guy I know, that basically on discord said LITERALLY, LETTER BY LETTER SAME FUCKING PHRASE AS ONE HUGE STREAMER.

The point is - people were begging for oblivion remastered - what they got was vanilla oblivion with shitty shaders slapped on it - nothing changed, no bugs fixed, no additional content from cut content in the original release, nothing - same game, no effort put into it - even the level scaling wasn't touched.

The most rage inducing thing is that people fucking accepted it like it's coming of christ himself - game reviewers claiming that they changed leveling for the better "it increases when you do things" - like...have you fucking played original oblivion? - "...I didn't play the original one but..." - oh yeah, they didn't, that's why they DON'T KNOW THE SYSTEMS ARE THE SAME.

And yeah, people got it, and suddenly they are happy with bare fucking outsourced minimum, that is just a slap to the face and people are happy with it.

Yeah, I'm still gripping it together somehow because I know I'm not alone in this pain, although everytime I see the web get lit up like christmas tree with bot activity, social engineered content and overall artificial activity that basically goes "corpos are so goood! Let's spend our money! this is A MASTERPIEECE!" I wanna die, like, so bad.

That's actually a thing I was thinking about, at this point the corpos that own shit, aren't even human driven, logic capable creations. They are soulless entities, that are fueled more and more by people getting sucked into it, there is no salvation - like you said, you could give them infinite monis and they wouldn't even be capable anymore of doing anything human.

The only way is for those huge corpos to burn down, go bankrupt, fail miserably and stop existing. We can actually see the final stages of how it is happening right now, with studios not making enough money to keep themselves afloat, and finally taking over governments to give itself more time with bail-outs tax evasion and shit. I wonder how long it will take for them to finally die, or will they take whole economy and everyone down with themselves.

Take starfield for example - there was so many lies told, the release was total shitshow, and the whole thing got quieted down so fast it's insane, and suddenly starfield has only good reviews and ratings? Almost everything we see is fake, internet is long dead, powerful players controlling it for their own gain.

My whole argument is basically this - In this day and age, big studios that should have budgets, technology, people and expertise, release half assed, outsourced, soulless crap, that is mostly cashgrab, they lie, they fake, they gaslight people, overprice their games - Next thing if you want to go further is that they exploit their workers, if they are not being exploited they are fired, replaced either by some third world country remote workforce or by free interns, which have no expertise.

The other part of the argument, is that people enable this behavior - you might live as a regular person in a very small bubble, not really thinking that much ahead, you just see another game "Oh shiny! gonna have some playeees!" and whip out 60 bucks, not thinking about it, or maybe even be one of those influenced by social engineering - "oh this streamer said it's good!" bam, 60 bucks for the studio - there are hundreds of thousands of such casual, regular, "small" people, and they enable all of this shitty behavior.

In turn, I get shit games, almost no good releases - read about all the shitstorms in the studios - witness all the manipulation happening on the web in real time, also the lowering of the bar - Halo infinity getting praised, because they added one, default, bare minimum function to their game.

Notice how I didn't even start about microtransactions.

This is just the tip of the modern gaming problems iceberg. Now go to your room and think about your behavior
