When I was younger, I used to watch a shit ton of horror movies. I only watched Midsomer because the director also directed Hereditary.
Midsomer is meh. The gore was great, but that's really it. I was quite bored, and the concepts weren't scary. I did like it's message though.

midsommar's my favourite psychological horror movie so far. i love how everyone got what they deserved by the end — a happy ending for danny and death by fire for christian.
as far as sui is concerned, though awful, i also liked how the parents seemed like they didn't feel any pain when they passed away and was just sleeping off to the afterlife.
