Has anyone paid DMC using instant money transfer?

He wanted me to pay using this method. He had a link to a page where you put in your credit card details. It just didn't seem very secure so I canceled my order. Now I'm wondering if I just should of done it.

I paid months ago using western union. On high alert now for a welfare check.
