yes i do pray for death , natural death , everyday before going to sleep i pray that i do not wakeup next day . i intentionally stayed unvaccinated for a 1.5 year after corona outbreak to die naturally by contracting CORONA , and then i had to travel to somewhere and got vaccinated .

Yep, I used to pray that I would take a heart attack and die in my sleep for weeks. I lost so much weight due to starving myself but my heart must be strong, so it never happened. Damn, you strong but also broken heart! waves fist in air

Yes, when I was a Christian I prayed for death. One of my most consistent prayers really. Many prayed for my health but I wanted death. And then when God didn't answer either for enough of a time my brain turned against him. Then I read more about bible contradictions and read scholarly sources about the bible and came to feel stupid for ever converting in the first place.

From reading the posts I am surprised so many do what I do and pray to never wake up.

Although it might not be something people talk about openly, I can say with some conviction I've never met anyone who also feels this way. I hold the belief that if I could meet such a person there would be some solace for me.

I pray to God often, and pray for death in a roundabout way.

Every day I'll read something in the news about a baby being born with an inoperable brain tumour, or a young person in their 30s being diagnosed too late with advanced breast/ colon/ ovarian cancer and i'll pray to try and make a deal with God- I tell him that I'm ready to die, that I don't want anything else with this life.

To see people who are clinging to hope and so determined to live against the odds- it breaks my heart. I tell him to do a swap- that I'll very gladly take that inoperable brain tumour, so that baby has a chance to grow up with his parents who love him so much. It doesn't seem fair that he seems to allocate death to the people who are the least prepared for it. I struggle to understand the bigger picture, and worry that his plan for me is to live to a ripe old age in great physical condition just because he can.

I remember myself 7 years ago. I graduated grade school and I was going to highschool. First day at school with all these new people. Social anxiety hit hard. I knew that I don't belong there, I knew that once the lessons are over, I'm gonna come back home and never go there again. So I came back home, locked myself in my room, cried a lot and prayed for a peaceful death. I said "Lord, please take me to you already, I don't belong here, I just can't, I'll go to sleep and I will never wake up, please make it happen". 7 years later I'm still alive..so I assume that either God doesn't exist at all or he just doesn't give a shit.

I don't exactly pray, I'm not religious, but there are times I lie down in bed and hope my unhealthy eating habits will just kill me already.
