When attempting full suspension hanging, is the aim to hold your breath for as long as possible (if you want it to be least painful)? This is probs a dumb question but do you die because of the lack of blood flow to your brain or the oxygen? I am going to attempt full suspension at some point but am hoping to make it as peaceful as I can.

A normal person can easily hold their breath for a minute, and you only need 10-15 seconds to black out, so the pain you'll need to worry about is the pain on the neck.

How do you make sure you black out in those 10-15 seconds?

The goal is to pass out as fast as possible.
No breath holding needed. Have a good setup and this is possible.

It's certain. Just make sure the knot is behind the neck.

10-15kg is already enough to compress the carotid arteries.
When I attempted with the knot behind neck I didn't get that feeling just pain, maybe I need to put the rope higher, just worried when I attempt again it still won't happen. I know for some people they just choke for several minutes and want to avoid it, I watched videos in a thread here with the successful ones where they did pass out but some struggled trying to grab their ladder, etc so I just want to make sure I won't be the latter

The best way to compress the carotid arteries and make you pass out quickly is just below the Adam's apple. I know most people say directly under the jaw, but personally, I only felt lightheaded when I leaned down with the rope in the middle.
You can feel the strong pulsation directly in the sides of the adams apple.

However in the aftermath photos, the rope inevitably slides under the jaw.

I feel like we are overthinking haha

you're right about the carotid arteries, but that video isn't the best resource for OP, since it depicts partial suspension hanging. it is, however, very useful to me personally since that's the method I'm planning on. so thanks!

Maybe, I just tried fsh again and started coughing and my si kicked in so I got back on the chair. Idk what to do to stop the coughing but it was the first attempt where I fully got off the chair and did fsh, it was only a few seconds so I didn't pass out sadly but I'm worried next time I do it I won't pass out either :/ I can only do it similar to this where I hold the rope and like use my small arm strength to try and stay up hoping I pass out and arms drop like her. If I don't hold the rope I can't get off the chair due to si, idk what caused the coughing or how to stop it so the next attempt can be the final one. When I did the rope a bit lower than under the jaw where I felt my pulse it would just be lots of pain and no passing out no matter how much I tried, under the jaw it hurts less for sure. https://www.livegore.com/422543/chasing-orgasmic-bliss-almost-there-2

Glad it helped I added it because the girl clearly put the rope on the Adam's apple, and she passed out quickly

Same here, I could only step off the chair for less than two seconds. I have a very low pain tolerance, but I'm sure if I kicked the chair, I would definitely have died.Only leaning down and applying pressure seems like a good idea, but I got up as soon as I felt lightheaded due to SI. My problem is I don't live alone, and I only get a good opportunity once or twice a week, but I don't get it when I'm impulsive or very depressed. I thinkImpulsiveness and horrible feelings can overcome SI.

in fact, in the majority of the hanging videos I've seen are very impulsive.

When I lean down and apply pressure I never got light headed just felt it tighten more. I guess not feeling lightheaded while putting pressure down makes me worry about not passing out like in the videos. Idk how to stop the chocking and coughing so it can succeed. I really want my next attempt to be the last since I don't want to keep feeling the uncomfortableness and I found a way to get off the chair without fear but the choking is an issue. So many videos seem like it's so easy, like there is no fear or si and it is knocks out immediately, it feels so unfair that they knock out immediately yet I've tried and no passing out yet or I would have succeeded :/

I feel your struggle. I'm pretty desperate so I'm going to bind my legs and wrists and then kick the chair and go full suspension. I'm worried about the same things in terms of passing out quickly but I think I'm at a point where I want to die so badly I'm just going to take the risk.

I'm pretty much at that point but I am so scared of pain and my si kicks in pretty hard. I tried today going for it and the chocking got me, I finally reached fsh and found the way to step off the chair without fear and was fine until I started chocking which ruined it and the si kicked in, I want to avoid the chocking so hopefully the si won't kick in but idek what happened the rope was high up and not near my Adam's Apple
