Does anyone know where I could search for and access a video of a partial suspension hanging? If links aren't allowed, that's fine, I just need enough info that I can find one myself and see what I'd be doing. Descriptions work too if any videos you've seen have been taken down.

What I'm mainly wondering about is how agonizing it will be because I'm afraid I won't have what it takes to go through with it. How long does a conscious struggle last? Once you're out, can the body still "just stand up" and stop you? Thanks in advance.

Partial hanging would be my backup method, wonder as well if there are any instructional videos online. I don't think there are any actual snuff tapes of people hanging themselves but some sort of instructional video might be somewhere online.

There's a bunch of them on suicide wiki along with a lot of useful information. There's also this
Oh, and there's also that famous video of a Swedish guy hanging himself, you can easily find it in google.
As for how agonizing it is, it really depends on a lot things. The angle, the position of the noose, the thickness of the ligature, the amount of pressure, etc. Basically you need to apply the right amount of pressure at the right spot. Do it right and you'll start passing out fast without much pain or discomfort. Do it wrong and you'll get headache and the head exploding feeling. It can be pretty tricky. During one of my attempts at partial I managed to hit the right spot and got dizzy almost immediately. There was no pain or discomfort and I even started feeling good. There was that pleasant tingling spreading in my chest and arms. Some people say it can be very euphoric. One problem with partial is that it can take a while for unconsciousness to set in so there's plenty of time for you survival instinct to kick in and since it's partial it's very easy to back out. When you pass out it will be very difficult if not impossible to stand up, you will lose motor control long before that, but your body will most likely convulse and thrash around so keep that in mind

Well i sometimes watch dead bodies at DOCUMENTING REALITY, not sure you can use search option if you are not logged, it allows you to watch few photos and then blocks your IP for some time, few weeks maybe, not sure.
