Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Is that the right term? Every time I read about hanging and methods whether it be full or even partial I feel physically ill. And the videos are even worse. I can't ever find anything peaceful about that method. Anyone feel this or do you find any solace in it?

Certainly don't see it as peaceful until you are able to lose consciousness...
The only reason I think of full suspension is because there is less chance for SI to undo things and have a failed attempt.
I do have some medications like benzos and seroquel to help me not freak out as much I'd be timing beforehand.

For me it was peaceful.. although I got up when I started to pass out. I used a 4mm cord wrapped around the door. I was on my tippy toes. Within 15 seconds I started to pass out. I had to stand up on the chair so I didn't. It didn't hurt my neck whatsoever. Just felt a ton of pressure on my neck.

I'm terrible at hanging. I've only tried full suspension, didn't know about partial before finding SS. But I couldn't even get it "right" enough to the point where I felt any pain or started to lose consciousness.

To me, hanging sounds like an terrifying way to leave this world. The fear of failure is what holds me back from attempting. It is such a cruel world that we live in where people have to resort to risky methods to end their pain. We all deserve the option of a peaceful and reliable way to exit. I would like to pass away in my sleep.

The biggest issue the first time was I didn't secure the noose well. When I fell, SI kicked in so I panicked and aborted mission. The biggest issue the second time was that I was in a literal mental hospital.
I've played around with partial suspension for .. erm.. erotic reasons… but could never find that "sweet spot" as they say to induce unconsciousness. Partial seems more humane though for ctb, even with my lack of ability to replicate. Full suspension just seems risky as all hell. I think it's pretty guaranteed you'll die because done properly there's no escape, but you very well may be in for upwards of 20 minutes of horrifying struggle to escape. If executed perfectly I think it could be quick, but in my mind and research, the only people who solidly can execute it well are legit executioners from back in the day who hung many people. "Place the knot here" has done nothing for me to be able to cut the blood flow to my brain quickly. I just feel like I'm having the air strangled from me. Great for those controlled auto erotic experiences, not so much for trying to end on a peaceful note.

Oh, you were doing the David Carradine maneuver. Never tried it myself, supposedly accidental deaths from doing it are a hidden pandemic, so to speak. I've heard that hundreds of teenagers and others die that way every year in the US.

Yeah, it was kinda fun anyways, but I was hoping for a near loss of consciousness experience and couldn't find it. I had it geared so that as soon as I let go of the rope it would release though, so no real danger of accidental death.

Well, my only goal is to die. If It's painful or not peaceful it doesn't really matter as long as i die. I think people misunderstand peacefulness as it some sort of pushing a bottom and dieing. Even N/SN are not that peaceful. Each method has its pros, cons and a rate of success. My personal opinion is that SN has a chance of surviving considerably high and that's why partial/full hanging is the best option out there. if the person study and execute correctly the method is almost a guarantee that you're going to die and the "pain"/discomfort is not that of a big deal especially when you get unconscious. Nowadays people wanna die well dressed and drinking wine, which tells me that these people don't really wanna die as they say.
A lot of people execute their methods without even doing it properly or even studying about the hole thing. Then after failing they blame the method and people looking to do that method gets scared, afraid or even give up on ctb after reading their so called "experience", "tried and failed" and so on... (maybe it's a good thing the last part.)
Sorry for my poor English. Not really fluent yet :(
